SUFFICIENT FOR THE DAY
Why should I worry about tomorrow, And burden my heart with unnecessary sorrow? Tomorrow belongs to God above, Who watches over me with everlasting love.
Today has its challenges, its burdens and pain, Its moments of sunshine, its moments of rain. But God gives me strength for the journey I face, And carries my burdens through His amazing grace.
I shall not borrow tomorrow's fears, Nor fill my heart with imagined tears. For each new morning His mercies renew, And His promises remain faithful and true.
Yesterday has passed, tomorrow is unknown, But today I walk with God, never alone. I need not understand what lies ahead, For God will provide my daily bread.
When difficulties come, I shall not despair, For my Heavenly Father is always there. I will do today's work with faith and care, And leave tomorrow in His loving care.
I shall not allow fear to rule my mind, Nor let uncertainty make me blind. For God's grace is sufficient for me, His love gives strength to set me free.
Today I will pray. Today I will believe. Today I will trust. Today I will receive.
Tomorrow may bring challenges I cannot see, But tomorrow's grace will be there for me.
ONE DAY AT A TIME, ONE STEP AT A TIME, ONE PRAYER AT A TIME.
For yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is in God's hands, And today is His precious gift to me.
