Knock and a door will open.

Amen. This is the promise of the open door—the assurance that when you knock, heaven does not ignore you.

"Knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on knocking, it will be opened." — Matthew 7:7-8 (AMP)

The Scripture That Holds This Promise:

Revelation 3:8 (AMP) — "I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name."

Isaiah 22:22 (AMP) — "I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he will open, and no one will shut; and he will shut, and no one will open."

Acts 14:27 (AMP) — "They reported all that God had done with them, and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles."

1 Corinthians 16:9 (AMP) — "A wide door for effective service has opened to me [in Ephesus], and there are many adversaries."

A Prayer of Knocking:

"Lord Jesus,

I knock—

not with doubt, but with faith.

Not with demands, but with trust.

Not once, but persistently.

Open the door that You have prepared for me.

Open the door of opportunity.

Open the door of breakthrough.

Open the door of purpose.

Open the door of Your presence.

And if a door is not from You—

close it firmly and redirect my steps.

I only want the doors that You open.

You are the Door.

Through You, I enter into the Father's presence.

Through You, I find my way.

Through You, I walk in Your will.

I knock.

I wait.

I trust.

And I will walk through the door You open."

A Blessing of Open Doors:

May the Lord open doors before you that no one can shut. May He close every door that is not from Him. May you walk through the doors He opens with confidence, wisdom, and peace. And may you know—when you knock, He answers. When you seek, He leads. When you trust, He opens the way.

"Knock and a door will open."

He is opening it—even now.

Keep knocking.

Keep trusting.

Keep walking through.
