 Your God Bless Me

A Prayer for Divine Favor

Your God bless me—not as the world bestows,

But with the riches of His mercy, the grace that overflows.

May He who parted seas and raised the dead

Now lift His hand and place it on my head.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. (Numbers 6:24-25)

May He bless me with His presence—the greatest gift of all,

A shelter in the storm, a help whene'er I call.

May He bless me with His peace that passes every fear,

And draw me ever closer when I wander or I veer.

May He bless the work of my hands, the labor of my days,

And fill my heart with gratitude, with wonder, and with praise.

May He bless my family, my home, my going out and in,

And guard me from the evil one, from sorrow and from sin.

The Lord will command His blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to. (Deuteronomy 28:8)

And when I stumble, may He lift me with a gentle hand.

When I am weary, may He give me strength to stand.

For Your God is not a distant king, but a Father kind and true,

And every blessing He bestows is mercy, fresh and new.

So I receive this blessing—not for my own pride,

But that Your God may be glorified.

Your God bless me—today and every day.
