Holiness You set your life apart for His purposes, choosing purity and obedience. "You shall be holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:16)

Worship Your life becomes a place of continuous praise and adoration. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16)

Hospitality You create space for God's presence to dwell and for others to encounter Him through you. "Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling." (1 Peter 4:9)

Stillness You quiet the noise to hear His voice and dwell in His presence. "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

Lord,

We hunger for more than food—

Believing somehow worrying was what faithfulness was about.

But You invite me differently—not to strive, but to release.

You say, "Cast your cares upon Me; I will give you peace."

Not a partial lifting, not a temporary stay,

But a full exchange: Your rest for my dismay.

Take away my fears—the fear of failure, the fear of man,

So I call upon Your name—Jesus, mercy's throne.

My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways. (Proverbs 23:26)

I give You my heart—not a fragment, not a part,

But the whole of me, the deepest part.

Not the pieces I have polished, not the parts I think are good,

But the messy, broken, tender parts that only You understood.

I give You my heart—the dreams I hold, the fears I hide,

The secret hopes I keep inside.

The joy that overflows, the tears that fall,

The silent prayers, the whispered call.

I give You my heart—not as an offering of perfection,

But as a child seeking direction.

Take it, Lord, and make it new,

Create in me a heart that beats for You.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)

My heart—the wellspring of my life,

The source of joy, the seat of strife.

Guard it, Lord, and keep it true,

Let it beat in rhythm with You.

I give You my heart—in the morning when I rise,

In the quiet before the day's demands and cries.

In the noontide, when the battle presses hard,

In the evening, when I lower my guard.

 I Confess My Sin of Not Honouring You

A Reflection on Malachi 1:6, 1 John 1:9, and Psalm 51:1-2

A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due Me? If I am a master, where is the respect due Me? says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 1:6)

I confess my sin of not honouring You—the times I have failed

To give You the glory, the praise, the honor that is due.

I have been quick to speak, slow to listen,

Slow to acknowledge Your presence, Your power, Your provision.

I confess—the times I have honoured others more than You,

The times I have sought the approval of man over the fear of the Lord.

The times I have placed my reputation above Your name,

The times I have been ashamed of Your gospel, Your truth, Your flame.

I confess—the times I have not honoured You in my words,

The times my tongue has spoken what is bitter and unkind.

The times I have not honoured You in my actions,

The times I have chosen the path of least resistance, the path of distraction.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

I confess—the times I have not honoured You in my thoughts,

The times I have allowed my mind to wander into darkness.

The times I have not honoured You in my relationships,

The times I have not loved as You have loved.

Forgive me, Lord—for the honour I have withheld,

For the praise I have kept, for the glory I have not given.

Restore to me the joy of honouring You,

And let my life be a living testimony of Your worth.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:2)

I honour You now—with all that I am,

With all that I have, with all that I will be.

I honour You in my words, in my actions,

In my thoughts, in my relationships.

I honour You—in the morning and in the evening,

In the silence and in the noise,

In the joy and in the sorrow,

In the triumph and in the trial.

Forgive my sin of not honouring You.

Cleanse me, restore me, and let my life be a song of honour to Your name.

A Reflection on 1 Peter 1:16, Romans 12:1-2, and Hebrews 12:14

"Be holy, because I am holy." (1 Peter 1:16)

Guide me to holiness—not by my own striving or might,

But by the gentle leading of Your Spirit, by Your holy light.

Not a holiness that is cold and distant,

But a holiness that is warm and consistent.

Holiness—not a burden to bear,

But a gift to receive, a life to share.

It is not the absence of mistakes,

But the presence of the One who makes

Us whole, who makes us clean,

Who washes us from every stain.

Guide me to holiness—through the valley and the peak,

Through the silence and the suffering, through the victory and the weak.

Let the fire of Your Spirit purify my heart,

And let me be set apart.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

Holiness—a journey, not a destination,

A daily dying to self, a daily resurrection.

It is the fruit of the Spirit, the work of Your grace,

The reflection of Your love in every time and place.

Guide me to holiness—in my thoughts and in my deeds,

In my words and in my deeds.

Let my mind be fixed on things above,

And let my heart be filled with Your love.

Holiness—not a list of rules to keep,

But a relationship with You, deep and sweet.

It is the joy of walking in Your ways,

The peace of living in Your grace.

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14)

So I surrender to Your leading, I yield to Your will.

Guide me to holiness, let my heart be still.

Let me be transformed by the renewing of my mind,

And let me be a reflection of Your love, Your grace, Your kind.

Guide me to holiness—not by my own effort,

But by the power of Your Spirit, by Your gentle retort

To every sin, to every stain,

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)

Forgive my hardened heart—the walls I've built so high,

The stubborn will that will not yield, the pride that will not die.

I have closed my ears to Your voice, I have turned away from Your light,

I have let the coldness of this world dim the fire of Your light.

Hardened—not by Your doing, but by my own choice,

By the weight of disappointment, by the silence of Your voice.

By the hurt that I have carried, by the fear I would not name,

By the comfort of my prison, by the safety of my shame.

But You, O Lord, are a God of mercy, a God of second chances,

You do not break the bruised reed, You do not snuff the smoldering wick.

You are the One who softens the hardest heart,

Who makes the broken whole, who gives a new start.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)

Forgive my hardened heart—and break the stone apart,

Let the living water of Your Spirit flow into every part.

Your love is all I need—not the treasures of the earth,

Not the fame, not the fortune, not the titles of new birth.

For these are fading shadows, they are like the morning mist,

But Your love is eternal, a love that cannot be dismissed.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

Your love is all I need—in the silence and the song,

When I am weak and when I am strong.

In the valley and the peak, in the shadow and the light,

Your love is the anchor that holds me tight.

When the world offers its empty promises and its fleeting gain,

Your love remains the same, the constant in the changing lane.

It pursues me in the valley, it chases me up the hill,

And when I had no strength to run, it carried me, and still

It holds me, keeps me, never leaves me all alone.

Your love has made my heart Your home.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

Your love is all I need—not for comfort only,

But to be a channel of that love to the lonely.

To reflect Your heart, to share Your grace,

To let Your love shine from my face.

No power in all creation, no depth, no height, no fear,

Can make it falter, diminish, or disappear.

It is the final word over every chapter of my story,

My unshakable foundation, my undeserved glory.

So let the world offer its fleeting, glittering prize.

I'll hold with joy the treasure right before my eyes.

For Your love is all I need, no, not a single thing,

Compares to the glorious, living love I have found in Christ my King.

Your love never fails. It never ends.

It is the anchor of my soul, my dearest, closest Friend.

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10)

You come that we may have life more abundantly—

Not just existence, not just breath,

But a life that conquers fear and death.

A life that overflows with peace,

A life that never, ever ceases.

Abundant life—not measured by the wealth we hold,

But by the love we give, the stories we unfold.

It is the peace that sings through falling tears,

The hope that conquers all our fears.

You come—not to condemn, not to destroy,

But to heal, to restore, to bring us joy.

You come to bind the brokenhearted,

To set the captives free, to heal the wounded,

To give us a future and a hope.

Abundant—not a life without its pain,

But a life where every loss becomes eternal gain.

Where the valley is a classroom, the mountain is a view,

And every step is guided by the One who is true.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

You come that we may have life—

Abundant life—in the ordinary and the grand,

Not just existing, but rising within.

The thief comes to steal, to kill, to destroy,

But You come to bring life and joy.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

So I receive this abundant life—not by striving or earning,

But by trusting, by resting, by simply turning

To You, the Way, the Truth, and the Life,

Who calms the chaos and ends all strife.

You come—not just to give us a ticket to heaven,

But to give us life here and now, a life that is leavened

With grace, with hope, with love that never ends,

With peace that surpasses all our understandings.

Life more abundantly—this is Your promise, Your gift,

A soul that is lifted, a spirit that lifts.

So live it, breathe it, share it each day—

Be gracious in my failures, when I stumble and I fall.

Let Your compassion meet me, and answer when I call.

Do not turn Your face away, nor mark my every sin.

Let the light of Your forgiveness find the way to enter in.

Be gracious in my weakness, for there Your power is made strong.

When I have no strength to carry on, let Your grace become my song.

Not by my might, not by my will, but by Your Spirit's art,

Please be gracious, Lord, and heal the brokenness within my heart.

Your mercy endures forever—not a season, not a day,

But through every generation, along every winding way.

When morning paints the heavens and evening claims the west,

Your mercy is the pillow where my soul finds rest.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1)

Mercy—not getting what I deserve,

A pardon I could never serve.

It is the second chance, the fresh start, the healing balm,

The quiet whisper, "You are forgiven; be calm."

It endures—through every failure, every rebellious night,

Through the silence of my doubt, through the chaos of my fight.

The enemy may whisper, "You have gone too far this time,"

But mercy answers, "Child, I have already paid for every crime."

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Your mercy is not a reward for my goodness,

But a gift of Your grace, a reflection of Your fatherhood.

It does not depend on my performance or my worth,

But flows from the heart of the One who gave me birth.

Jesus loves me, yes I know—not because I'm good or wise,

But because the Word of God reveals it right before my eyes.

Not a fleeting feeling, not a hope that's built on sand,

But the unshakable foundation of a nail-scarred hand.

I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness. (Jeremiah 31:3, AMP)

Jesus loves me—when I fail, when I wander, when I fall.

When I cannot feel His presence, when I cannot hear His call.

His love is not a fair-weather friend, not a conditional lease;

It flows from His own character, an ever-flowing peace.

Yes, I know—not because I've earned it, not because I've prayed enough,

But because the cross declares it—through the suffering and the rough.

He who did not spare His Son has proven love so deep,

That every doubt and every fear is silenced in His keep.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8, AMP)

Jesus loves me—this is certain, this is solid, this is true.

When the world says I'm unworthy, He says, "Child, I died for you."

When my heart condemns my failures, He replies, "It is complete."

For the love that holds me steady has already claimed defeat

Over sin and death and judgment—over everything that harms.

Jesus loves me, yes I know—I am safe within His arms.

 Lamb of God That Clears the Sin of the World

A Reflection on John 1:29, 1 Peter 1:18-19, and Revelation 5:6-12

Lamb of God—the One who clears the sin of the world,

The spotless, sinless, perfect One, the banner unfurled.

He came not with the roar of a lion, but the silence of a lamb,

To take away the sin that stained, the curse of fallen man.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

The Lamb that clears the sin—not covers, not conceals,

But washes, purges, fully heals.

He bears our guilt upon His shoulder,

He makes the guilty heart grow bolder.

No blood of goats or bulls could take the stain away,

But the blood of the Lamb, the perfect sacrifice, forever stays.

He was led to the slaughter, He opened not His mouth,

He bore the sins of the south and the north, the east and the west.

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth. (Isaiah 53:7)

The Lamb that clears the sin—once for all,

He answered the Father's righteous call.

He paid the price, He broke the chain,

He freed us from sin's shame and pain.

The Passover Lamb—the shadow of the cross,

The substance of our gain, the end of loss.

The firstborn saved by the blood on the door,

Now the firstborn of the dead, forevermore.

For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. (1 Corinthians 5:7)

And now He stands before the throne, the Lamb as though slain,

Yet alive forevermore, with scars that still remain.

The angels cry, "Worthy!" The elders cast their crowns.

The Lion is the Lamb, and the Lamb deserves renown.

He clears the sin of the world—not with force, but with love,

Not with wrath, but with grace from above.

He takes it away, as far as the east is from the west,

And He gives us His righteousness, His peace, His rest.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

Lamb of God—my sin is gone,

By Your blood, I am made whole, I am drawn.

I am no longer defined by my shame,

For the Lamb of God has cleared my name.

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,

To receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength

And honor and glory and praise!

Lamb of God, I worship You, all my days.

 Thank You for Loving Me

A Reflection on 1 John 4:19, Romans 5:8, and Psalm 136:26

Thank You for loving me—not when I was good,

Not when my heart obeyed and understood.

But when I ran, when I denied Your name,

When I drowned in guilt and burned with shame.

We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Thank You for loving me before the world began,

Before I drew a single breath, before I was a man.

You saw my failures, every hidden stain,

Yet You chose to love me, again and again.

Not because I earned it, not for works I've done,

But because You are love, the Father and the Son.

While I was still a sinner, still at war,

Christ died for me—and opened mercy's door.

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Thank You for loving me in the valley and the peak,

When I am strong and when I'm weak.

Your love is not a fair‑weather friend;

It holds me close, it will not end.

So I receive this love—not as a wage, but as a gift.

My broken heart You gently lift.

Thank You for loving me—my song, my plea,

My hope, my home, eternity.
