We are not alone.

 Amen. "We are not alone."

This is the truth that echoes through every valley, every storm, and every long night. It is the promise that God has woven through the entire story of Scripture—from the garden to the wilderness, from the fiery furnace to the lion's den, from the manger to the empty tomb. We are not alone. We have never been alone. And we will never be alone.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." — Deuteronomy 31:6 (AMP)

The Scripture That Reminds Us:

Matthew 28:20 (AMP) — "And behold, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], to the very end of the age."

Isaiah 43:2 (AMP) — "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you."

Hebrews 13:5 (AMP) — "I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!"

Matthew 18:20 (AMP) — "For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them." (We are not alone because we have each other.)

1 Corinthians 12:27 (AMP) — "Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function]." (We are part of a family.)

A Prayer of Connection:

“Lord,

Thank You that we are not alone.

Thank You that You are with us—

always, everywhere, in every season.

In the valley, You are with us.

On the mountain, You are with us.

In the silence, You are with us.

In the storm, You are with us.

In life, You are with us.

In death, You are with us.

We are never alone.

Thank You for the Body of Christ.

Thank You for brothers and sisters who walk with us.

Thank You for the family of God that spans the globe.

Thank You for the cloud of witnesses cheering us on.

Thank You for the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

When we feel isolated, remind us that You are near.

When we feel forgotten, remind us that You remember us.

When we feel abandoned, remind us that You hold us.

When we feel weak, remind us that Your strength sustains us.

When we feel alone, remind us that we are surrounded by Your love and Your people.

We are not alone.

We are never alone.

We are Yours.

And You are ours.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.”
