I will sing the Goodness of God.

Yes. This is the response of a heart that has tasted His goodness and cannot stay silent.

"I will sing of the goodness of God."

The Scripture That Inspires This Song:

Psalm 145:5-7: "On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness."

Psalm 31:19: "Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you."

Psalm 107:1: "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!"

Exodus 33:19: "I will make all my goodness pass before you."

A Declaration of Song:

"I will sing of the goodness of God—

not because every day is easy,

but because every day He is good.

Not because I always understand,

but because I have always been held.

His goodness has followed me

through every valley,

over every mountain,

through every storm.

His goodness has been my portion

in plenty and in want,

in joy and in sorrow,

in life and in the valley of the shadow.

So I will sing.

I will not wait for perfect circumstances.

I will not wait until I feel like it.

I will sing of His goodness

because He is good—

yesterday, today, and forever.

Let every breath become a melody.

Let my life be a song of His goodness."

A Prayer of Praise:

"Lord,

You are good.

Your goodness has surrounded me all my days.

I have not earned it.

I cannot repay it.

But I can sing it.

So I will sing of Your goodness

with my voice, with my life,

with every testimony I speak.

And when I stand before You one day,

I will still be singing:

You are good.

You are good.

You are good.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

The Promise for You:

The goodness of God is not a distant memory or a future hope. It is present. It is pursuing you. It is new every morning.

I will sing of the goodness of God. Let that be your song today. And let it rise from a heart that knows He is good—always good.
