"God, the great I AM."
This is the name He spoke from the burning bush—the name that needs no explanation, no qualification, no comparison.
The Scripture That Reveals This Name:
Exodus 3:14: "God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' And he said, 'Say this to the people of Israel: "I AM has sent me to you."'"
John 8:58: "Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.'"
What This Means:
· He is self-existent. He depends on nothing and no one.
· He is eternal. He has no beginning and no end.
· He is unchanging. The same yesterday, today, and forever.
· He is present. Whatever you need, He is: I AM your healer, your provider, your peace, your salvation.
A Declaration of Awe:
"You are the great I AM—
not 'I was' or 'I will be,'
but I AM—right now, in this moment.
Before the world began, I AM.
When the world is gone, I AM.
In every trial, every triumph, every ordinary moment—
I AM.
You are not defined by what You do.
You are defined by who You are.
And who You are is enough.
Great I AM,
I bow before You."
The Promise for You:
The same I AM who spoke to Moses, who walked on water, who calmed the storm, who rose from the dead—that same I AM is with you. And He says to you: "I AM your God. Fear not."
God, the great I AM. Let that name settle every fear, every question, every need. He is. And He is yours.
